Here's yet another reason you can get ticked off about your mom tossing out your comic books: prices continue to soar on the collector's market. Just a week after Superman's first appearance in Action Comics #1 pulled in $1 million on the auction circuit, a new record was set by Detective Comics #27, which featured the 1939 debut of Batman.
