Veteran Variety columist Army Archerd speaks to Peter Fonda about producer Roger Corman's controversial 1967 film The Trip which was written by aspriing young actor Jack Nicholson. Fonda recalls how nervous studio executives compromised the content of the script and watered down Nicholson's vision.
