Film historian and author Scott Eyman reports in the Palm Beach Post that a very rare silent film titled A Thief Catcher has been discovered at a Michigan antiques fair by collector and preservationist Paul Gierucki, who initially did not realize the importance of the 16mm reel he had purchased.
