London's Daily Mail has a sneak preview of Clint Eastwood's latest directorial effort,
Invictus. The film reunites Eastwood (who does not appear in the film) with his friend and co-star Morgan Freeman, who plays Nelson Mandela. The film centers on the situation Mandela inherited when he became president of South Africa in the wake of apartheid policies. The nation was on the verge of Civil War, but Mandela wisely used South Africa's hosting of The World Cup to unite his countrymen behind their underdog team. The title of the film refers to a poem Mandela was fond of reciting. Matt Damon co-stars.
