If you haven't seen this delightful 1968 comedy crime caper, you're really missing out. Peter Ustinov stars as a charismatic con man who impersonates a computer expert at a big company run by manic top exec Karl Malden. He's also saddled with a dumb blonde girlfriend, played against type by Maggie Smith in one of the most enjoyable performances of his career. Ustinov's motive is to gain access to computer data that will allow him to rob the company of millions. It's a hilarious romp that earned Ustinov and co-writer Ira Wallach a Best Screenplay Oscar nomination. The three leads are simply superb, and there is able support from Bob Newhart.
